    ISUB IT’S LIKELY THAT

    It's likely that

    Trees didn't play as much zone as I thought they would
    Cleanthony with 19. Missed it by one.
    EO had a chance to make the first basket and didn't take the shot. Dang.
    Nick was 0 for 3 from three.
    We should have held them under 60.
    They outrebounded us again.
    Jake keeps the question alive with a very bad minute of play in the first half.
    We are two for ISU and the collective MVC stiffie goes limp.

        I'm sorry, but I have not been impressed with Wiggins. He is spotty at best, and does not play good defense. I don't think he is living up to his 'predicted reputation'.

          I think he has been playing better defense recently than people have been giving him credit for.

              Wiggins was also very active on the boards and has added driving to the basket to his arsenal. He got to the line a lot.

                I thought Wiggins did fairly well last night. Both he and Early are still adjusting to the D-1 level.

                  Yes, I think Wiggy is about normal in his progression. We might be judging him to harshly because Cle has had a generally easier and quicker transition.

                    I think a summer in the weight room will make a great deal difference with Wiggins and Early around the basket. Nick, particularly, has a hard time with physical defenders and finishing plays. His all around game is much better than early in the year.
